Kumho Petrochemical wins the platinum prize in the chemical category at the Vision Awards

The 2015 Annual Report of Kumho Petrochemical won the platinum prize in the chemical category at the Vision Awards organized by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) of the United States.

Now in its 14th year this year, the Vision Awards is considered a representative international competition organized by LACP, an organization established in the United States to bolster communication, together with the Annual Report Competition Awards (ARC) of MerComm, Inc.

Every year, the company publishes an annual report for its investors and clients. In the report, it provides important corporate information such as basic facts about the company, its financial information, business achievements, and future prospects. The 2015 Annual Report was prepared under the theme of “K-Foundation.” The report effectively delivered information on important corporate issues, such as the reinforcement of synthetic rubber as an existing business field, the consolidation of oversea bases for synthetic resin, and the expansion of the production capacity of each field.

The report earned a score of 99 out of a total of 100 points based on the criteria of clarity, creativity, and effectiveness of information delivery. As such, the report was highly acclaimed, and the company won the Grand Award at an international annual report competition this year, following its winning of the title of “Best of Korea” at the ARC Awards last year. Furthermore, the report won the Bronze Medal in the Most Impressive Annual Report category at the Vision Awards this year.
